The Bay Renewal was a whole-home renovation of a 1990s lakefront property on Shadywood Road. Lake Street Design Co. led and coordinated the renovation work, partnering with AHT on architecture, Studio M on interior design, and Stonewood on construction. Our role was to manage the physical transformation of the home, ensuring that the vision developed by each collaborating firm was executed with precision and care.
The scope covered every major system and surface in the house. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, millwork, and exterior finishes were all addressed as part of a unified renovation effort. The result is a home that reads as thoughtfully considered throughout, a quality that comes only when the renovation work itself is held to the same standard as the design.
The primary bath is the room clients mention most. Heated floors, a steam shower, and a freestanding soaking tub positioned to capture the lake view reflect the kind of precision installation that renovation work demands at this level. The details are only as good as the hands that execute them.
Working with the caliber of partners assembled on this project is something we take seriously. The Bay Renewal is a strong example of what becomes possible when architecture, design, and construction are coordinated tightly from the start.
